Eileen Bernstein writes “lyrics that ring with poetic emotion” and “melodies
that drive her country songs with emotion and originality.” In September 1996,
her song, “The Lake ‘Cross the Way” won the
Future Charters contest sponsored by Songwriter’s Monthly magazine. Eileen’s
“straightforward” song about relationships, “She’s Got
Her Way", won the Song of the Year international competition in the
Country category for May 2004 (www.songoftheyear.com).
Eileen has been performing in showcases at Mad City Coffee in Columbia, Maryland
and College Perk Coffeehouse in College Park. She has studied piano, guitar,
voice, flute, and string bass.
